WorksMail’s Standard and Enhanced email services are subject to a daily limit of 300 emails sent per day. This restriction is in place to mitigate the potential risks associated with spam-sending trojans infecting computers. Upon reaching the 300-email threshold, users will encounter the following error message when attempting to send additional messages: “462 Daily send limit reached. All WorksMail Standard and Enhanced mailboxes are capped at a maximum quota of 50GB.

To maintain optimal mailbox performance, WorksMail automatically archives emails older than six months once a folder exceeds 10,000 email items. These archived emails are moved to a designated Archive folder for easier management.

To streamline mailbox management and free up storage space, WorksMail automatically purges email items older than 30 days from your Trash folder.

In the event of your computer being compromised by a virus that triggers spam email activity from your account, WorksMail implements a precautionary measure by locking your account. This temporary lockout ensures the security of your account and prevents further unauthorized email sending. During this period, you can continue to receive messages, but outgoing email functionality will be temporarily suspended.
