Step-by-Step Guide
Migrating your email to Worksmail is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition:
1. Prepare New Mailboxes
- Create Mailboxes: Set up new mailboxes via your WHMCS.
2. Collect Information
- Gather Details: Obtain the IMAP server address and passwords from your current email service. Temporary passwords can be set for the migration.
3. Request Migration
- Contact Support: Email our support team with:
- The email address to be migrated
- The current password
- The source IMAP server address
For multiple mailboxes, use a CSV file with these details. Click here to Download a template CSV file.
4. Migration Process
- Supervised Migration: Our team handles the migration and updates you upon completion, typically within 24 hours.
5. Update DNS Records
- DNS Configuration: Update your MX, SPF, DKIM, and other records to point to Worksmail servers.
6. Final Sync
Final Check: We perform another sync to ensure all data is transferred.
7. Configure Email Clients
- Client Setup: Set up your email clients with the new IMAP and SMTP details provided in our guide.
